About

Uhls-182.jpg

I graduated from the California State University, Northridge with a MS in Counseling and a focus in Marriage and Family Therapy.

I received two years of professional training from the Southern California Counseling Center where I worked with children, adults, couples, families, and facilitated group therapy.  I am now proudly serving as a volunteer supervisor here, helping to train new therapists, and giving back to a place that gave me so much.

I worked for 2.5 years at a drug and alcohol treatment center, where I provided individual and group therapy for clients who are newly sober and working on their recovery.

I am also the past Vice-President of Membership at the San Fernando Valley California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists.

I attended Middlebury College in Vermont where I earned a bachelor of science in conservation biology.

There are times when it’s difficult to know what you’re feeling. Maybe you can tell that there’s a knot in your stomach or a tightness in your throat, but you don’t know what that represents or why it’s there. That’s okay! Feelings are signals that something is going on. Tune in to them and see what you can learn!
